Have you ever thought about the importance of laughter in your life? It is there even when everything seems to be going wrong. A good laugh after a terrible day can take our minds off our problem. If utilized properly, laughter can lighten our loads and make us see how fortunate we really are.
Where would we be if we were not able to laugh at our mistakes, or see the humor in a situation? Remember, it is important to recognize the humor in a situation. Often some of our most creative moments occur after a good laugh.
No matter what your circumstances, laughter is given to all of us. It is seen bubbling out of the mouths of children in Third World countries. It is heard from kings and queens, beggars and tyrants, rich and powerful, and the humblest of mankind.
Have you ever seen anyone laugh without smiling too? A friendly smile always accompanies laughter. It adds a sparkle to the eyes of those laughing.

What does a smile cost us and what does it do for others who see it directed at them? What does a good laugh do for us, and what does it give to the person who unexpectedly hears it spilling from a passerby? How often do we give a lift to another person’s day with our smiles and laughter. Both are like sunshine, that is given and received freely.
We all have the capacity to lift the spirit of another person with our smiles and laughter. Both are the universal language that all humanity understands. If we share these instead of criticism, slander, or hateful words, we just may see a gentler, more caring world. Think of it, a world of sensitivity, kindness, and caring.
Laughter and smiles are two of the greatest gifts our Heavenly Father gave us. As we interact with others, let us not forget to share these most inexpensive, yet priceless gifts of smiles and laughter. As your own Inner Boss, you have the power to do this. Merely use it!
Until later... Colleen
